Gorgeous graphics don’t mean squat if you don’t have bucket loads of multiplayer unlocks to earn. That’s our opinion, anyways.
Good thing, then, that Battlefield 3 will apparently sport “years worth of unlocks and rewards” to keep you going. That is according to the game’s official Battleblog #5, which reveals that: “Compared to Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3 will have more than 10 times the hardware unlocks spread over weapons, weapons attachments, gadgets, and a huge unlock tree for vehicles alone.”
Cripes, we dread to think about the hours we’re going to sink into Battlefield 3‘s online. Relationships will be wrecked, pets will be starved, and our armpits will turn a funny sort of green that will need men in radioactive suits to scrub down. We can’t wait.
Said wait is nearing it’s end, too; Battlefield 3 is out on October 25 in the US and October 28 in the EU on 360, PS3 and PC.
