Minecraft has officially launched on Android, even if on one device only so far.
Exclusive to Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Play for now, the game, fully titled Minecraft: Pocket Edition, is available for $6.99, in Alpha 0.1 form.
As is the case with its PC brethren, the game will be updated and improved upon as time passes. For now, there’s randomized worlds and wi-fi multiplayer to fool around with.
It’ll eventually launch for all Android devices, once Play’s exclusivity period ends. Whenever that is.
