Here’s one we weren’t expecting: Team Ninja’s Ninja Gaiden 3 – due out on PS3, 360 and Wii U – will support the Move motion controller on Sony’s system.
That means we’ll (supposedly) be able to get closer to the action as we assume full control of Ryu’s weapons, slicing up grunts with the Dragon Sword and guiding our awesome ninja stars with the greatest of accuracy. Fingers crossed for a peripheral that ties two moves together for nun-chucks.
“We are really excited to announce this fantastic news at gamescom”, said team boss Yosuke Hayashi.
“Ninja Gaiden 3 is all about slicing and chopping through flesh and bone and PlayStation Move bring players even closer to the game’s protagonist Ryu Hayabusa. The game will be compatible with all Move peripherals and it will feature full compatibility with this exciting new hardware.”
Look for the PS3 and 360 versions of the game to touch down in early 2012.
