That new Wii model that’s due out in Europe this holiday season? It won’t be crossing the seas.
Chatting at Gamescom, Nintendo’s confirmed it has no intentions for a US release of the redesigned system; the company “does not currently have any plans” for a US release, a spokesperson told Kotaku at the event.
The now-horizontal system was announced yesterday, with a few features not making the cut. Namely, GameCube games and accessories won’t be supported.
