Xbox community guy Larry Hryb has let slip that Sonic CD is heading for XBLA. The game is listed in a blog post advertising the console’s line-up that this year’s PAX, featured among other digital highlights like Trine 2 and Trials Evolution.
Sonic CD was the Hedgehog’s third game and released on the Sega CD, a Mega Drive expansion. It’s since seen release on PS2 and Gamecube and it certainly won’t be the blue bullet’s digital debut either; a whole host of Sonic titles currently grace the Marketplace.
No word on a release date but perhaps PAX will reveal all.
