The redesigned Warthog to be featured in the upcoming continuation of the spatial saga, Halo 4, will be appearing as an easter-egg in the the unlikeliest of places; Turn 10 Studios’ Forza Motorsport 4.
To the voice and stories of Cortana herself, you will be able to view the M12 FAV (Force Application Vehicle) in detail in Forza‘s Autovista mode using the Kinect motion sensor as a controller. Explore and scrutinize all the details of the Warthog, from the outside in as you step inside to take a look at all the operational gut this iconic, battle-hardened four-wheeler has to offer.
But there is a catch; while you will be able to take that in-depth look, Microsoft was quick to note that the Warthog is a well-hidden easter-egg in Forza 4 and should you eventually manage to find it, you will not be able to drive it around among the Ferraris and Aston Martins and Mercedes’ and… Porsches?
Those of you visiting Halo Fest this weekend in Seattle will have the opportunity to get hands-on with the “Autovista Warthog Experience.”
