Gears of War 3 is going to have a lot of post-launch DLC up for grabs, and Epic and Microsoft are trying to entice gamers into the whole package with the game’s newly-announced Season Pass. This service will bundle the first four pieces of DLC due out over the next 12 months into one package at a significant discount. Players will receive each piece as they are released.
And how much should one expect to pay for this set? How does 2400 Microsoft points (read: $30) sound? That’s what Shacknews has reported. That reportedly shaves 33% off of the total set so expect to pay around 3600 MS points ($45) for all four pieces separately. The Pass will set sail on September 20, the same day the game releases.
That DLC will include both mulpiplayer and single-player offerings, so there’s bound to be something for your tastes.
