At this past weekend’s Halo Fest at PAX Prime, Microsoft talked about the new Halo games coming to market, specifically the new trilogy officially announced at E3 2011.
As we knew, the new trilogy, starting with Halo 4, will pick up directly after the events of Halo 3. What we didn’t know, however, is that the new three games will be called the Reclaimer Trilogy, according to a Eurogamer report.
What’s more, according to developer 343 Industries, some 200 staffers are working on the project, and have been for over two years.
It sounds as if the Reclaimer Trilogy is a big deal for Microsoft (did you suspect otherwise?). Look for Halo 4 on store shelves holiday 2012. Can’t get enough Halo? Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary arrives on November 15.
