A fan favorite PS2 JRPG is making its way over to PS Vita, Japanese blog Sinobi (via) confirms.
Atlus’ Persona 4, first released back in 2008, will come to Sony’s new handheld next year in Persona 4: The Golden. As the odd name suggests, it’s only been confirmed for Japan right now, though past PSP ports of the series have made their way west eventually, so expect this to as well.
This update boasts new characters, movies and voice acting, which is said to be increased by 1.5 times the amount in Persona 4. A “rescue request” feature will also be implemented using Vita’s wireless capabilities, allowing users to ask for help in levels and fights.
