We’ve seen the vehicular havoc this top view mini-Burnout can cause, and now, we’re ready to do it ourselves. EA and Criterion have announced that the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network downloadable title Burnout Crash will hit those markets on September 20th worldwide.
Crash is all about the wildly popular Crash mode as featured in earlier Burnout titles, which has the driver running a car right up to an intersection and right into traffic, triggering explosions and destroying everything in sight. And this time, everything means everything. In addition to wrecking cars, the environment will be just as destructible as the four-wheeled hazards on the road, which hopefully is not but a stepping stone of what we’ll see when the next, fully-fledged Burnout comes around.
Burnout Crash will be available on XBLA and PSN on September 20th then, at the price of 800 MSP or $10, respectively.
