Were hoping Infinity Ward and Activision would still announce a Prestige Edition for this November’s Modern Warfare 3? Such additions have after all accompanied the launches of both 2009′s Modern Warfare 2 and last year’s Black Ops..
Sadly for hardcore COD fans and for reasons unknown though, a Prestige version of the release is not being prepped for MW3.
Infinity Ward creative strategist Robert Bowling delivered the news via Twitter: “There is no Prestige Edition, only a Hardened Edition for MW3.”
The $100 Hardened Edition will have to do this year, then.
