Starbreeze teams up with award-winning director for new IP

Swedish Starbreeze Studios is barely done taking heat for re-imagining the classic that is Syndicate in a very first-person kind of way, and the team is already announcing it’s working with Swedish award-winning film director Josef Fares on a new game based on a new intellectual property.

“I love games, and I have been working on a game concept for quite some time. The more I worked with the concept, the more convinced I felt that this is a solid game idea,” said Fares, who expressed through Twitter being “very serious” about this project given that he’s working with Starbreeze full-time.

“Just minutes into Josef’s presentation we knew that this was a game that we wanted to develop, and we started to work on the concept the very same day,” added Starbreeze CEO Mikael Nermark.

No actual details about the game have been given, so we’re clueless as to what it might be. For now…
