Square Enix’s classic JRPG Chrono Trigger may be having a hard time finding its way onto PSN at the moment, but the publisher has confirmed that it will at least see release on iOS and Android at some point.
While this was one of the bigger announcements the company made at the Tokyo Game Show, they also showed off Final Fantasy Legends, Itadaki Street and Dragon Quest Monsters, all of which will come to mobile devices. Square will even have their own games portal on the Android marketplace named the Square Enix Market. A sizzle trailer showed Final Fantasy 1, Final Fantasy 2, Chaos Rings, Chaos Rings Omega, and Crystal Defenders, suggesting that these titles will also find their way over.
Three other mobile-exclusive titles were announced: Chaos Rings 2, Diffusion Million Arthur and Demon’s Score. The most interesting bit of info here is that Demon’s Score is being developed by Epic. There’s a match you didn’t think would ever happen, eh?
Hopefully deets on Western releases for all of these titles will be available soon.
