EVE Online developer CCP’s Newcastle outfit is working on next generation technology, the company’s VP of business development Thor Gunnarsson’s revealed.
“Yes, we’re currently building tech for the next generation of consoles,” he’s told Develop, “as well as future PC tech too.”
CCP Newcastle, an engineering office for the developer, “will be working in full capacity on technology for the next generation of hardware,” he continued.
“They’re working on internal tech, and with various middleware, and game engines too.”
No clue on when it might be shown off though. Or when the next generation actually starts, for that matter. The next Xbox has been rumored to get a reveal at next summer’s E3 though.
