Anyone hoping to bust out the brain wave bomb in any of Dead Island‘s four new “deadly and hazardous” areas included in the upcoming DLC , Bloodbath Arena, will have to wait until the game itself gets fixed.
Developer Techland had already stated that polishing the game and squashing any bugs takes priority. So much in fact, that publisher Deep Silver recently revealed the planned September release of the downloadable content will not make it in time.
“We are working hard to make the Bloodbath Arena DLC available as soon as possible,” read a post on the game’s official Facebook page. “However, due to further polishing of the main game the finalisation of the DLC code has been delayed. We know that many fans are eagerly waiting for it and apologise for any inconvenience.”
There was no mention of an actual date, but we were informed that a revised one would be announced next week.
