EA to fully support Wii U, ‘no indication’ of hardware delay

Expect to see quite a few EA games on Nintendo’s Wii U hardware; the publisher’s biggest names will be released for the upcoming system, COO Peter Moore has said.

“Our teams are working on it around the world. Our key franchises will be there. We’ve made that commitment to Nintendo,” Moore, who’ll be visiting Nintendo this week to get the final specs, launch date and pricing, has told Reuters (via).

We’re guessing that means Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Battlefield, Need for Speed and the like.

Moore also briefly responded to rumors of development problems on Nintendo’s part: “There are no indications that there’s anything that feels like it’s off target.”

There was talk of Nintendo possible delaying the release to next fall a while back. More on that here.
