Yesterday’s Halo movie rumor has, sadly, turned out to be bogus.
When reached for a comment, Microsoft gave the following statement to GameSpot: “The information in the press release in question is inaccurate. We have no plans for a Halo feature film right now. Our focus is on developing Halo: Anniversary and Halo 4.”
Bummer.
There’s still hope though as Frank O’Connor’s word stand; “there will be a Halo movie,” he said last year.
