Here’s a kick in the teeth for us fans of the Valkyria Chronicles games; Valkyria Chronicles III isn’t being prepped for a Western release by SEGA. Best pick up those Japanese lessons, then.
Hiroshi Seno, SEGA’s console sales exec, confirmed as much to Gamespot. It would seem that the game’s platform, the PSP, just isn’t popular enough over in these parts. Add to that the fact that Valkyria Chronicles II didn’t sell all that well in the West and it’s a no go for this third outing, sadly.
Perhaps when Vita rolls around we’ll see a new addition to the franchise, or a digital release of this one.
