Minecraft for Xbox Live gets release window

The Xbox Live version of Minecraft, which was announced at this year’s E3, will be coming to consoles in Spring 2012, Mojang’s confirmed.

The first time you can get your hands on this version of the popular indie game will be at MineCon, held November 18th and 19th in Las Vegas.  Also timed to coincide with this event is the official “launch” of Minecraft, meaning it will no longer have a beta tag attached to its version number.

The console version will also be a 360-exclusive, creator Markus “Notch” Persson’s confirmed via Twitter.
