PS3 owners picking up Battlefield 3 this week will be disappointed about one thing at least; there’s no Battlefield 1943 to be found.
Earlier in the year EA announced that the downloadable BF would be included as a bonus to Sony console owners, but it’s just not there.
So that’s no good. Especially as we’re learning about it on launch week. But there may be a silver lining; according to the official Battlefield Twitter, that’s the very reason PS3 gamers are getting Battlefield 3‘s multiplayer expansions a week ahead of everyone else.
“In lieu of 1943 being available on disk for PS3 customers, EA has made all BF3 expansions available early to PS3 customers.”
