The minds behind Limbo are promising their next effort to be “more weird,” can you believe it. In fact developer Playdead boss Dino Pati already considers it to have reached “crazy good” status.
“I think it looks crazy good,” Patti tells Eurogamer. “I’m really proud of it already. I know the art is not fully there yet, but for me it’s the perfect project two for our company, because it’s similar in many ways, but so different. The next project is more crazy than Limbo, if you say that’s crazy. It’s more weird in many ways.”
Little has been known of the game so far, but Patti gives a few new details and hints. Namely that it would be in color this time around, and that it would have “more 3D than you would think.” Go figure.
As for revealing further info, Patti says: “Our production time is long, so we don’t want to tire people out. I hate when the big publishers show something one or two years before the launch.”
Patti has previously said that the new project won’t be out for another three years.
