We already knew Battlefield 3 had shipped 10 million units globally since launch, but now we’ve got a better figure…how many copies the game has actually sold.
Electronic Arts has announced that the DICE’s shooter has sold 5 million units globally since its launch last week. The data stems from EA’s “internal estimates,” which also claim that the game is the publisher’s fastest-selling game of all time.
What’s more, EA admits that “some players experienced intermittent disruption of online services due to high volume,” but note now that servers and stability are stabilized to 98.9%.
