Counter-Strike: Global Offensive beta delayed

When Valve announced Counter-Strike: Global Offensive over the summer, the studio promised a beta for the game would arrive sometime in October. But as you may have noticed, today is the first day of November and there’s no beta available.

That’s because Valve has delayed it. Speaking with pro gamers Ksharp and Rambo, Valve’s Chet Faliszek explained that pros were brought in to test the game, and the feedback gathered from their experience has compelled the studio to push the beta start date back.

There’s no word on when the beta will start, unfortunately. And when the beta does start, it’ll be light, containing just a couple maps, according to Faliszek.
