It’s easy to look at Battlefield 3 as a PC game; the most well-received version of the shooter rests on the platform and, of course, there’s the expansive history the series has on PC.
So it would make sense that the PC was the lead SKU in the development of the game, but that’s only half the truth. DICE exec Karl-Magnus Troedsson revealed to CVG in an interview that: “We said originally that the PC was the lead SKU of the game, but in mid-production we switched to console as lead platform to make sure we could get all the versions done for release.”
In other BF3 news, the game’s been having some online issues again across all platforms. EA and DICE have said they’re on it, though.
