Tomorrow is the day that PlayStation Home fans have been waiting for. A delivery truck (read: scheduled maintenance) will be showing up and then moving everything over to the new Home. We’ve reported on the new areas to grace the update before, but here’s a little look at some of the games and features that will also be coming our way.
In the Action District we’ll find Home’s first free-to-play multiplayer FPS, Bootleggers ’29. This Prohibition-era shooter pits cops against robbers, allowing players to bring their own avatars into the fray for some classic deathmatch action.
In the Sportswalk there’s going to be a new Home Hold ‘Em game along with a sports trivia stand. Pier Park will host an RC Rally game and a new Cogs puzzle adventure will show up in the service’s main hub.
For its debut, the Adventure District will be themed around Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, including multiplayer content based around the game’s Yemen environment.
Plenty of new tricks are up Home’s sleeves, it would seem. Will this reboot bringing in more gamers?
