Modern Warfare 3 will have sold between five and a half and six million copies by end of day today, Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia believes.
“We expect MW3 to grow 10% versus last year’s Call of Duty: Black Ops, which has sold through more than 25 million units life-to date,” he said.
“We expect 5.5M-6.0M unit sales of MW3 on day 1 and nearly 18M units in the December quarter.”
Bhatia’s predictions match those of fellow analyst Michael Pachter from Wedbush who also expects 10% performance increase, though over the course of six weeks in his case. More on that here.
