Controller-less consoles? How about mouse-less PCs?
Meaning Microsoft is bringing Kinect to Windows. The program will launch in early 2012, though an official website has just been set up along with the launch of the second beta of the SDK.
There are reportedly 200 companies already using the program for testing. This week’s SKD update includes faster skeletal tracking, better accuracy rate when it comes to skeletal tracking and joint recognition, and the ability to plug and unplug your Kinect without losing work/productivity.
Thinking about the potential for this device on PCs is exciting. Will it have any affect on PC gaming too?
