Take-Two has announced a few delays on its recent earnings call, and we shouldn’t be too surprised; they’re for games that have been delayed numerous times before.
Both XCOM and Spec Ops: The Line are now tucked into the company’s fiscal year 2013, which runs from next April to March 2013. The Line‘s launch window got narrowed down a bit further; it’ll be out during the fiscal year’s first half.
Take-Two has a number of notable titles hitting next year, BioShock Infinite, The Darkness II, Max Payne 3 and possibly Grand Theft Auto V among them, so it’s entirely possible T2 wanted push the pair into a more favorable time frame. No formal explanation for the slips was given though.
