BioWare has dropped a few minor details on the co-op option for Mass Effect 3 on its official blog.
It’s pretty basic, yet enticing stuff. First up is the possibility of split-screen multiplayer, a definite plus. Kinect won’t be available in this mode (surely another bonus in some players’ eyes), and friendly-fire won’t be an option. Probably a good idea, given our ability to accidentally shoot Krogan team mates in the back.
Oddly enough, it was also promised that the co-op servers wouldn’t be taken down unless there weren’t enough players to support them. We know the reaction to this mode has been controversial but taking servers down before it’s even out? (Joking, joking).
