We may be in for a new God of War next year; a store in New Zealand, Mighty Ape (via), has listed “God of War IV” for September 28th, 2012.
That’s the same month a rumor from April pinned the next game’s release on. Looking at more past rumors, the next game in the franchise is also believed to include multiplayer.
The very latest bit about a new game raised its head just earlier this month when Sony Santa Monica was advertising for a position for a new God of War project. More on that here.
