250K of Witcher 2’s sales are digital

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings has done itself proud on the digital front; it’s been announced that the game has shifted 250,000 downloadable copies.

The bulk of these sales (195,000 to be exact) were from Steam, with a further 35,000 from developer CD Projekt’s own GOG.com. The rest is made up from 10 other outlets.

It’s selling well then, and will likely continue to do so when the Xbox 360 port is released some time in 2012.
