This year’s Call of Duty launch has gone as swimmingly as ever, but the same can’t be said for the debut of its premium service, Call of Duty Elite.
Since launch players have had little if any success actually signing into the app. Activision admits that the company is struggling to scale the service to meet demands, thus has offered an extension on paying members’ time.
“We are immediately and automatically extending your membership to Call of Duty Elite by 30 days at no additional cost.” The company states on the service’s status page. And for those who are yet to sign up: “we’re going to extend Founder eligibility until the end of the month, and you will also receive the additional 30 days of access.”
Hopefully the service finds its feet in the next few days.
