A few little fixes and tweaks are heading Battlefield 3‘s way, as DICE senior gameplay designer Alan Kertz has revealed to Don’t Revive Me Bro (via).
The most concrete of these updates is the tactical light attachment. This device is used to blind enemies, but will be having its range reduced in the near future. DICE is also looking into balancing jets and helicopters by making them easier to repair and stand their ground against AA vehicles.
In terms of some complaints of input lag, Kertz suggested that this is likely a problem with players’ TV setups than the game itself.
Not much, then, but we hope to keep seeing other such improvements going forward.
