The chatter regarding the next generation Xbox hardware is starting to heat up again. The latest rumor has Microsoft revealing a few bits at CES in early 2012 with the hardware believed to be the main focus.
Xboxygen has the news (via), citing an anonymous source who says there are two groups within the giant working on the console: ‘Infinity’ is in charge the hardware, while ‘Loop’ is focusing on software.
Some specs are also divulged; a six-core CPU, an AMD graphics card, and 2GB of DDR RAM.
CES isn’t that far off — it’s held in January in Las Vegas — so hopefully we’ll know more soon enough.
