Bethesda has confirmed it’s preparing patches for all the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC versions of the RPG of the moment, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, asking for players’ patience while at it as rolling the updates out will take “a little time.”
“Patches/updates take a little time. We can’t turn it around quite that fast. It’s been three days. Calm down. We’re working on it,” PR man Pete Hines says, adding that the studio aims to fix “any bugs and perf issues we can.”
“We will fix as much as we can for your platform. I don’t know if it will fix ‘your’ bug. Takes a while to test/fix/regress. Hang in there.”
No time frame was given.
One thing known to be in the works is a fix for the Xbox 360 texture issue. More on that here.
