Counter-Strike: Global Offensive beta arrives next week

Those eager to get their mitts on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive–Valve’s new take on the popular FPS franchise–won’t have to wait much longer.

According to a tweet from the game’s official Twitter account, the CS:GO beta will go live on Wednesday, November 30 for “current key holders.” The beta is for PC players only; sorry console fans.

The initial wave of invitees is believed to be around 10,000, but don’t fret if you are without a key; it’s quite likely Valve will expand the beta to a broader audience as the beta moves forward.
