More on DCUO’s F2P success

Sony’s put out yet more figures and stats on DC Universe Online‘s post-F2P-switch growth.

SOE prez John Smedley’s gone on a bit of a Twitter rampage, revealing that, since the free-to-play move, the MMO has seen 6% growth per day and 700% increase in daily revenue (47% PC / 53% PS3). It’s also revealed that more than 85% of daily log-ins are returning players and that the percentage of European players has went up from 20% to 50% of daily log-ins.

Seeing as the game’s now microtransaction-supported, the most popular marketplace items are also revealed: Vanguard of the Heavens character skin & additional character slots.

All’s good and profitable in the land of superheroes then.
