PS Vita memory cards priced, are expensive

PlayStation Vita’s memory cards — Sony’s clever trick to squeeze more currency out of its customers, seeing as some games can’t be played without them — have been priced.

GameStop is listing the four versions (via), and they’re not cheap. The 4GB card will be going for $29.99, 8GB for $44.99, 16GB for $69.99, and finally the 32GB for a whopping $119.99, which just happens to be almost half the price of the lower-end Vita itself.

Vita will go in sale in the US and Europe on February 22, for $249 (Wi-Fi) and $299 (3G).
