Just a day after we reported about the possibility of a Final Fantasy Type-O sequel, the original game has been confirmed for a Western release.
Speaking in the Type-0 Ultimania Guide (and picked up by Andriasang), Hajima Tabata, the game’s director, revealed that he and his team were currently at work on an international release for the PSP game. No hints on timing or anything, but at least the confirmation is there for all the FF nuts.
Oh, and there was more sequel talk, too. Tabata would like a follow-up to star the same characters and setting, going by the name of Type-1. But, most interestingly, he’d like to make the game for home consoles. Fan reaction to this first title will see if Tabata’s wish is granted but for now we’ll just wait on that international release.
