EA’s Army of Two series could well be doubling in number for its next sequel, Kotaku reports. That would indeed make the next game Army of Four.
According to an inside source, EA Montreal is developing the project which will, as the name suggests, featured four-player co-op. Rios and Salem better make some room, then.
Even more exciting is the rumor that the game is developed using DICE’s Frostbite 2 engine. Don’t get too worked up though; the insider also states that EA will be shifting some DICE members over to Montreal to work on the project as development is apparently troubled.
There have been plenty of EA rumors seeping out as of late, some we hope are true, some we hope aren’t. It would be nice to see a revamped version of this guilty pleasure, though.
