FEAR 3 developer Day 1 Studios may have fallen on hard times. It’s being rumored that, thanks to a canned publishing deal with Konami, the studio has laid off 95 percent of a team that was reportedly working on an unannounced revival of the Silent Scope franchise, which would have followed up 2002′s Silent Scope 3 for the PlayStation 2.
According to a GameSpot report, a smaller team continues work on another project though, also unannounced.
Day 1 itself hasn’t commented yet.
