Star Trek Online producer exits “fun and interesting” Zynga, returns to Cryptic

Dan Stahl, the former Star Trek Online executive producer who left Cryptic for a role at Zynga, has returned to the MMO developer.

While describing his time at Zynga “fun and interesting,” the man says he “really missed working with my colleagues here.”

“There is something magical going on at Cryptic these days,” he writes on STO‘s official forums, “and I’m very happy to be back working on the MMOs that I personally love to play.”

Stahl takes the role of senior producer as he’s put in charge of the Foundry, a team tasked with creating the user-generated content tools.

Stahl was at Zynga for just over two months.
