UK retailers are apparently having trouble keeping the 3DS in stock these days as the handheld’s sales in the country have increased sharply.
High Street sources have told MCV that the Metallic Red version of the Nintendo machine with a rocky start have nearly sold out, with other variations in short supply as well.
“We have high expectations for the final few weeks before Christmas,” says Iain Johnson, GAME Group’s category manager for Nintendo.
The Big N has dropped some aggressive marketing on its recent releases Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7. Pair that with a price cut on the hardware itself and one can see why it’d suddenly be selling. Ain’t nothing like actually having something worthwhile to play, yeah?
