Yet another game has received the once-impossible perfect 40/40 from Famitsu. Final Fantasy XIII-2 joins the ever-growing number of titles to have the honor.
This is the third perfect score the mag has awarded this year, Andriasang reports, with the previous two given to RPGs as well: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Skyrim was the first western game to join the lot, by the way.
According to the Japanese mag, XIII-2 fixes any problems the previous game may have had and has a lot of content to boot. Pretty much what Square Enix itself has been saying then.
2009’s Final Fantasy XIII received a 39/40 score.
