It’s been talked about, it’s been teased and it’s been the rumor as of late. And, as it turns out, everything that was said, however little it was, was true.
Announced at the Spike Video Game Awards 2011, BioWare is taking the Command & Conquer franchise under its wing, and will be letting loose Command & Conquer: Generals 2. The announcement was accompanied by in-engine footage, which not unsurprisingly, was brought to us by DICE’s Frostbite 2 engine.
Expect Command & Conquer: Generals 2 in 2013.
