It looks like two of Ubisoft’s biggest franchises are heading to Nintendo’s systems.
Joystiq has spotted listings on the Australian Classification Board for both Prince of Persia on Wii and 3DS and Rayman on 3DS. While its entirely possible that the publisher is prepping new entries for the series on both systems, the simple names suggest that these are perhaps Virtual Console releases.
Prince of Persia saw release on both Game Boy and Game Boy Color – as did Rayman – and was featured on many of the consoles supported on the Wii’s digital library.
Considering Ubisoft used up the simple Prince of Persia name for the reboot earlier in the generation, expect those Virtual Console announcements soon.
