The PS Vita debuted with 325,000 units sold in its first two day on the Japanese market, but the system’s attach rate sat a little lower at 300,000 unit sales, Media Create (via Andriasang) reports.
That equals out to a 0.92 attach rate, lower than both the 3DS’s opening rate (0.95) and PSPs (1.06). These numbers are strictly from retail however and, given Vita’s focus on downloading software, would likely rise taking Store downloads into account. Hot Shots Golf and Uncharted: Golden Abyss have been the system’s two best-selling games.
Hopefully Sony provides some solid download statistics.
