It’s tradition for a Ridge Racer game to accompany a console launch, and the PS Vita is no exception.
Surprisingly though, Ridge Racer Vita only started development back in spring this year. Andriasang reports that it could have taken as little as eight months to develop the title, which is either a reflection on how easy it is to develop for the system or the quality of the game itself.
Director Hideo Teramoto told Famitsu that development on the project was indeed tight, though he also confirms that Vita’s easy development systems helped a lot.
Ridge Racer will be joining a whole host of games for Vita’s western launch on February 22.
