Judge gives Activision vs EA the green light

Last year’s Infinity Ward drama will soon materialize in the court of law; EA’s bid to dismiss Activision’s $400 million cross-complaint has been denied, the latter has announced.

As a little reminder: following EA backing fired Call of Duty creators and Infinity Ward co-founders Jason West and Vince Zampella’s new development house Respawn Entertainment, Activision decided to take the lot to court, saying EA negotiated with the highly valued pair while they were still under contract with it.

A jury trial is set to begin in early May.

In the meanwhile, this is a good place to catch up on past related developments.
