Assassin’s Creed: Revelations creative director Alexandre Amancio has left Ubisoft in favor of taking up the role of chief creative officer at marketing agency Cossette. He was with the publisher for seven years and also served as art director on Far Cry 2.
Says Amancio of his move: “Video games and advertising have many common elements. In both industries, we are always looking for new ways to engage the consumer to the brand.”
This is the second time in as many years that Ubisoft has lost a creative director for the Assassin’s franchise. Last year, Patrice Desilets left for THQ where he, among some other former Ubi folk, is working on a new IP.
